First, you must create an attractive offer (a lead magnet). This could be an e-book, a discount code, or even free access to a course. This would propel your audience to sign up to your email list.
Use your website. You can do this with sign up forms, call to action buttons on blog posts, announcement bars on the menu and offers during holidays or festive seasons.
Through social media. Include your site link on your Instagram bio, Facebook page, run a contest and also include a share button so subscribers can share your ‘incentive’ with friends and family.
Going offline. Get people to register their details at your events, seminars or even online programs.
Use Text to Join format. Some email marketing providers like Constant Contact and Mailchimp offer integrations that make it easy for audience to text a keyword to a shortcode and then get automatically added to your list.
