If you put 10,000 hours of “deliberate practice” into any field, then you will become a master.
Have you heard this before?
It’s called the 10,000 Hour Rule.
This rule came about as a result of research conducted by Malcolm Gladwell and documented in his book called the “Outliers”. Gladwell claims that greatness requires enormous time, using The Beatles’ musical talents and Bill Gates’ computer empire as examples.
40 hours of practice every week for 5 years!
This might look like a lot but remember practice makes perfect.
How many hours have you done towards mastery? let us know in the comment section.
