Six Quick Tips To Create A Perfect Instagram Bio

1. Use words that explain your business in a clear, simple, and short term: Make it easy for any new visitors to understand what you and your business are all about. And if they like what they see, they’re more likely to tap the follow button.

2. Use the Name Field to Share Your Top Targeted Keyword: The name field is directly below your profile photo. Note that your name field is different from your user name, although a lot of users rarely use this. You can customize it in your Instagram bio to appear in the search result as people search the keyword even without searching your username.

3. Add Your Contact Details to Your Instagram Bio: Make it easy for your page visitors to contact you or find your location.
this will make your Instagram a one-stop-shop for them

4. Choose the Perfect Instagram Profile Picture: If you run a business, you can use your logo (or a shortened version of your logo) as your profile picture to help with long-term brand recognition. On the other hand, if you’re an entrepreneur — like a photographer, strategist, or life coach — you may want to use a headshot as your Instagram profile picture.

This will make it easier for your page visitor to relate and connect with you.

5. Strategically Use Instagram Stories Highlights in Your Instagram Bio: Your Instagram Stories highlights allow you to provide additional information and value to profile visitors, so be strategic in how you set them up. You can use it to promote your products to drive sales or share valuable information about your product or services.

6. Optimize your bio link: You can link to the homepage of your website. However, it’s more effective to link to specific calls to action based on captions in your latest posts. For example, if you have a cool product you’re launching, and a course you’re encouraging folks to sign up for, you can use third-party tools like Link. tree, Later, etc, that allow multiple links to drive your followers to multiple CTAs.

Http Vs Https Website Which One Is Safe For You?

If you’ve never paid attention to the browser URL while surfing the internet, that you must start doing so today.

If you observe the prefix of each website URL, you’ll usually see either HTTP or HTTPS. One means that the site you are on is secure (HTTPS), while the other is not (HTTP).

Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) can be likened to the way servers and browsers talk to each other. this type of “computer language” is not encrypted. Every browser and server in the world speaks HTTP, so if an attacker managed to hack in, he could read everything going on in the browser, including that Facebook username and password you just typed in.

Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is another language, except this one is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Imagine if everyone in the world spoke English except two people who spoke Russian. If you happened to overhear them speaking in Russian, you wouldn’t understand them. It’s the same with HTTPS. If browsers use HTTPS to pass information, even if attackers manage to capture the data, they can’t read the information.

Does that mean HTTP websites are insecure?
Well, it depends. If you are just browsing the web, looking at random stuff, HTTP is fine. However, if you’re logging into your bank or entering credit card information on a payment page, it’s imperative that the URL is HTTPS. Otherwise, your sensitive data is at risk.

How can I make sure online information stays secure?
As a business: Work with a third-party vendor to get an SSL certificate on your login and payment pages.
As a consumer: Don’t enter your sensitive information on pages that don’t have HTTPS.

The Five Parts Of A Url

URL is the short form for Uniform Resource Locator, a website URL is the location of a specific website, page, or file on the Internet. Every URL is made up of multiple parts, and the way yours are built will have a variety of effects on your site’s security and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

The protocol: Also known as the scheme, is the first part of a URL. It represents the sets of rules that decide how files are displayed, formatted, or transferred across the web. For example, when an address is entered in the browser, the HTTP port, which stands for hypertext transfer protocol, tells it that the page is to be displayed in hypertext format (HTML).

The subdomain: The most common subdomain is ‘www’ which a general symbol for any resource on the web. However, it is common to specify the type of resource that the browser should deliver.

The domain name: This is the actual name of the website. The ‘jetheights’ in ‘jetheights.com’ or ‘google’ in ‘google.com’. Domain names are unique as they literally determine the address of a website.

The path: used to show which directory on the server stores the resources (files, videos, audio, etc.) that are being requested.
Think of this as the folder structure of the website, so a browser knows which subfolder to find the webpage in.

Web page: This is the last part of the URL and is the specific page you are requesting. It’s generally the actual filename of the page as it is stored on the domain computer.

That makes the 5 basic parts of a website URL.

Four Deadly Landing Page Mistakes

Getting people to visit your websites can be very challenging. That’s why blogs and landing pages are implemented to direct them to your site of their own will.

But while doing that, you need to take note of some actions to avoid while creating a landing page, else you might end up sending your priced audience farther away.

THESE MISTAKES CAN MAKE YOUR LANDING PAGE COUNTERPRODUCTIVE;

Creating vague content on your page.
The landing page is meant to convince them, so your content should be clear and concise. They need to understand what is in it for them before they can decide to click the CTA button.

Driving them to your homepage always.
If you have a marketing campaign for a product you are selling, your landing page should direct them to unique landing pages for those products. Directing them to your homepage would only give the impatient ones more reason to exit it.

Adding too many links to your page.
This can be distracting. Add only specific links and buttons or people would be confused as to what exactly you are trying to sell.

Not using forms.
Creating a landing page without adding a form is a No-No. You need to get information from your leads. The form should be short and concise so it is easy to fill. Once you have their information, it can help you strategize better next time to know who your major target audience is.
